Question 1

What can I add to my profile, and who can see it?

Accepted Answer

Describe what you can teach and what you want to learn, and add an optional introduction, profile photo, and time zone. Profiles start private. If you turn on public visibility, your introduction, photo, and teach-and-learn information can be seen from your public profile; your email and account details stay private.

Question 2

How do learning requests work?

Accepted Answer

Sign in, open another member’s published skill listing, and send a request to learn that skill. The listing owner can accept or decline. You can follow the status in your dashboard; an accepted request opens a conversation there so you can message each other.

Question 3

How do direct skill trades work?

Accepted Answer

On a published skill listing, describe the skill you can offer in exchange. The listing owner can accept or decline your offer. This direct trade request does not start checkout or use credits.

Question 4

How do I book a paid one-to-one session?

Accepted Answer

Choose a published listing with a one-to-one session price and continue through checkout. MettleMesh verifies the payment before the listing owner can confirm a session time. The price shown on the listing is the amount checked during payment verification.

Question 5

How do we agree on a session time?

Accepted Answer

Save a time zone in your member profile, then propose one to three time options for the session. The listing owner can confirm one of those options, suggest an alternative time, or decline the proposal. Proposed times are interpreted in the time zone saved with your profile.

Question 6

When can I leave a review?

Accepted Answer

After a confirmed session is marked complete, each participant can submit one review of the other participant for that session. A review includes a one-to-five rating and a written note. Reviews appear on public member profiles and skill listing pages.
